BLS Provider CPR-AED

American Heart Association

This CPR class is for both American Heart Association BLS Provider New & Renewals. You do not have to be a Healthcare Provider to take this course.  Adult/Child/Infant are always included.

Your class confirmation and reminders will be emailed to you automatically when you register. Please check your Junk Mail or SPAM Folder if you do not see your class confirmation. Your name on your certification card will be spelled exactly as you enter it when you register including Capitalizations.

Texas OnSite CPR will provide each student with their own separate sanitary adult/child CPR manikin, infant CPR manikin, bag masks, pocket masks and AED Trainers. The class consists of 4 basic components:

  • Watching the American Heart Association Provider  CPR Video
  • Taking the Written Test
  • Skills Practice with CPR manikins and various breathing devices
  • Completing a Skills Test with CPR manikins

All Registrations do require prepayment. You will receive a Digital eCard after the class.

 We can also mail you a laminated copy of your certification card for $10.00. You must first claim your new eCard at  https://ecards.heart.org/student/myecards before we can laminate it and mail it to you.

If you can not pay by credit card when registering you can enter, "pay at class" in the Promo Code box when registering and pay when you arrive at the class. We do not take checks. Cash or Credit Card only. If paying by cash bring the correct amount please.

BLS Provider Online-Blended eLearning with Instructor Led Hands On Skills Session (AHA)

“Blended” means you take the cognitive portion of the class online and then must meet with an instructor for a Skills Test. This is NOT an online certification as it requires a "Hands On" meeting with the instructor to verify your skills.

We recommend this eLearning Course for those of you who have taken the Classroom course previously. We DO NOT recommend this eLearning Course if it is your first time taking the BLS Provider course.

You will be emailed instructions on how to access the online portion of the course. You will also receive an email confirmation for your Skills Test class. You must complete the online portion before attending the Skills Test class.

2 Hour Online Course

How Does This Course Work?

Once the cognitive portion of the course has been completed, students practice and test their skills with an AHA Instructor at one of Texas OnSite CPR Skills Sessions.

You will receive a Digital eCard after the class.

 

Pediatric First Aid-CPR-AED Online-Blended with Instructor Led Skills Session (HSI)

A computer with internet access is required to complete this course. Smart Phones and Tablets typically will not work.

The Health & Safety Institute (HSI) Pediatric First Aid-CPR-AED Course will meet the new Texas Health & Human Services Standards for Child Care Professionals, Foster Care and Adoption.

“Blended” means you take the cognitive portion of the class online and then must meet with an instructor for a Skills Test. This is NOT an online certification as it requires a "Hands On" meeting with the instructor to verify your skills.

You will be emailed instructions on how to access the online portion of the course. You will also receive an email confirmation for your Skills Test class. You must complete the online portion before attending the Skills Test class.

 

How Does This Course Work?

First Aid-CPR-AED Online-Blended Course with Instructor Led Skills Session (HSI)

A computer with internet access is required to complete this course. Smart Phones and Tablets typically will not work.

Our Health & Safety Institute (HSI) First Aid CPR AED training courses were designed for the workplace to comply with OSHA CPR and First Aid Standards and to prepare First Responders with the First Aid and CPR skills to manage illness and injuries at the workplace in the first few critical minutes until professional help arrives.

“Blended” means you take the cognitive portion of the class online and then must meet with an instructor for a Skills Test. This is NOT an online certification as it requires a "Hands On" meeting with the instructor to verify your skills.

You will be emailed instructions on how to access the online portion of the course. You will also receive an email confirmation for your Skills Test class. You must complete the online portion before attending the Skills Test class.

For Covid 19 we are limiting the size of our classes to increase Social Distancing to everone a larger space in the classroom. Masks are recommended.

To Register for this course you MUST have purchased the AHA Blended-Online Heartcode BLS Provider Course elsewhere and you will be required to show the instructor your course completion certificate or email it to cprtom@mac.com
